• Steinhatchee: Is one of the top spots, Steinhatchee offers excellent scalloping opportunities and a quaint, small-town atmosphere. It’s known as Sportsman’s Paradise, Steinhatchee also offers some of the best hunting and fishing. It’s one of the few towns in Florida that preserve the “Old Florida” character, with picturesque Victorian houses and shops. 

Scallop Season in Steinhatchee runs June 15 through Labor Day.
