Ask anyone who has ever fished with Buddy and they will tell you that for Buddy fishing has never been a hobby – it’s a PASSION!
From his early days as a youngster fishing local rivers, to dragging an old Jon boat behind a 3 wheeler to get to a pond—Buddy loved to catch fish.
When he got old enough to drive (legally) – the Gulf became his pond, the 3 wheeler was replaced by a truck and the Jon Boat has been retired and replaced by bigger, better and certainly safer boats.
He has fished the west coast from Crystal River to Big Bend for 30+ years. Today the passion remains, and he loves to share the knowledge and techniques developed over a lifetime on the water. If there is a fish to be caught, Buddy will find it and catch it.
Buddy has made the choice to settle in Steinhatchee for his personal part-time residence and his future full time retirement due to not only the water and the fishing but also due to the people that have become lifelong friends. The fishing is great and so are the natives!
